DHOOM 3 : BACK IN ACTION
This is my first one. I love movies and I watch them almost every week.
Hey People, the D:3 released with a staggering collection of 36Cr on the 1st day defeating the records of both Krrish 3 and R. Rajkumar. However, is it really just the wave of the hype surrounding the movie that led to the phenomenal success on the 1st day or is the movie in itself??
There's no doubt that Aamir Khan exceeds expectations of the audience once again with the amazing performance and work he has soulfully done. The stunt work is crazy and outstanding.
The songs are on a low scale, and personally I did not enjoy them as much. Even though, one of the songs 5Cr's have been spent Malang, those guys truly have lot of money to spend !!!!
The Action scenes are epic some places and too dull other places, probably better background score may have done the trick to cover up the blunders!!!
The Story is really well thought of, they carry it off well till the interval but post that, they've displayed all that they've got and so the story becomes slightly emotional in the second half. Screenplay is poor. There are so many loop holes, I literally saw the audience walk out of the theatre after a while where a good movie would keep them to their seats even if they need hold it for all that time.
Aamir Khan rocks the score. Brilliant acting and performance, steels the show away. IF there is something one would want to go and watch this movie it'll be Aamir Khan.
Personally, I loved the ending. It is after a long time they've used brotherly bonding, harmony and love as an ending - where nowadays deceptions and betrayal are the best tools ,, like how in the old days the ends were perfect n left a good feeling when one stepped out of the auditorium.
Cinematography is class. Some shots that have been taken are brilliant, I wonder how many camera's got broken and destroyed to catch just that one shot. They truly amaze the viewer.
VFX is also ok!! Today, there could've been much more involved.
Overall, it isn't meeting the hype and expectations it has bubbled for itself in the past few months, however, the movie certainly is outstanding. Its disappointing when high expectations meet lesser returns. There are several repetitions and fewer twists as compared to the previous saga's, surprises are limited and predictable.
If I had to rate the movie I would give it
Wish you have a wonderful time watching the movie and do go for it at least once.
Worth a watch !!
