LG Television Post Sale Customer Service


The sales at electronic stores speak highly of  LG, when you go to buy a Television. 

Here's the catch, whilst the electronic stores are really good salesmen at projecting the positive side of buying the specific brand -- the long term downside is that their customer service stinks -yes I have to use a gruesome word - which really isn't the dirtiest amongst what I've heard. 

Their service really is beyond imagination - THAT PATHETIC


You'll get to learn new ways about how to cheat your customers. 

So, my LG TV faced an issue where we could start the TV but couldn't watch anything due to lines on the screen. So, the service engineer comes to our house and suggests the motherboard needs to be replaced. 

He billed us for approx 13.5k inr - for the replacement. 
In less than a month, about 20 days - the same issue erupted on the TV. 

This time around, the same engineer visited us and tells us - we will need to incur another 35k to replace the screen of the TV. So we asked him, if that was the case then why did you change the original motherboard of the TV -- 

he meekly responds that at that time the issue was different. 

We asked how? The complaints pointed out are exactly the same. 


When we called up their customer service, they would not pick up or they'd give us bull. They wouldn't cooperate or resolve our concern. Not just that, the service engineers who visit the home -are downright rude, uncivilized and arrogant. 

He simply went away without answering and then we called up - we'd get someone on the line and they'd put our call on hold to check and it would disconnect after sometime. 

This is the service!! 


So, this one time on another occasion  - I asked the service engineer to return after an hour, because there was no one available at home. So, he marked his visit as completed and no one ever came back to address our issue. 

We had to follow up endlessly, wasting our valuable time and still our issue stood unresolved for as long as the TV got used. 

Its not just one engineer, ALL their engineers are like that. god knows what they think of themselves. 

EVEN their installation staff were like that. At that time, we were so elevated with our new TV that we ignored their behavior from spoiling our joy and in the euphoria it went completely unnoticed but later the horror started unfolding. They NEVER rectify the mistakes they make. 


So, save yourselves the trauma - NEVER GO FOR A LG TV.
